RiskHawk1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RiskHawk (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use any paid features of the platform.
2. Description of Service
RiskHawk provides quantitative risk intelligence and forensic analysis of publicly traded securities. The platform operates a 21-layer scoring engine that processes public financial data, regulatory filings, macro indicators, and alternative data sources to generate risk scores on a scale of 0 to 10. Additional features include an AI-powered chat assistant, configurable price and risk alerts, a stock screener, and downloadable analysis reports.
3. Not Financial Advice
RiskHawk provides informational risk intelligence only. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, a financial recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security.
Risk scores are quantitative indicators derived from public data and statistical models. They are not predictions of future price performance. Past model performance, including published AUC scores and backtest results, does not guarantee future results. Scores may be incorrect, incomplete, or delayed.
RiskHawk LLC is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, financial planner, or fiduciary under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or any applicable state law. You should always consult a licensed financial advisor before making any investment decision. Use of this platform does not create an advisory relationship.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. One account per person is permitted. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without our written permission.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
RiskHawk offers a 7-day free trial with full access to paid features. No credit card is required to start the trial. If you add a payment method and do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be billed at the applicable monthly rate.
We reserve the right to adjust subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to current subscribers. Price changes take effect at the next billing cycle following the notice period.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use RiskHawk only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You may not use automated scripts, bots, or web scrapers to extract data from the platform in bulk. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell RiskHawk data or analysis without our prior written consent. You may not use the platform to facilitate market manipulation, insider trading, or any other activity that violates applicable securities law. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring engine or underlying algorithms.
7. Intellectual Property
The RiskHawk scoring engine, algorithms, models, analysis outputs, and platform design are proprietary to RiskHawk LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Content you create on the platform -- such as watchlists, custom notes, and saved searches -- remains your own. You grant us a limited license to process and store that content in order to provide the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RiskHawk LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any investment losses resulting from reliance on information provided by the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or to the Service, or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
